Anna Mae Middleton of Maryland Heights, Missouri, formerly of Potosi, Missouri was born on December 12, 1931, a daughter to the late Jesse J. Lamkey and the late Lilly (Owens) Lamkey. On February 5, 1955, Anna was united in marriage to Othal “Chub” Middleton.
Anna entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the NHC Healthcare in Maryland Heights, Missouri having reached the age of eighty five years, one month, and six days.
Anna will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her including her sister, Evelyn Warren of Bonne Terre, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Donna Middleton of St. Louis; two granddaughters: Kimberly and Wendy Middleton; three great grandchildren: Autumn Cross, Haille Carpenter and Alexandria Sykes; sister-in-law, Evelyn Lamkey of Potosi;
In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Othal Middleton; son, Larry Middleton; brothers: Sam, Tip, Austin, Ralph, and Johnny Lamkey; sister, Rosie Shivers; and great grandson, Dillon Sykes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from10:30 AM until 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers was held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
