Angel Rene Burns

Angel Rene Burns, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 17. Born on December 6, 2007, in Farmington, Missouri, she was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her.

Angel was currently a Junior at Potosi High School. Angel always put others first; her kindhearted nature was evident to anyone she met. Angel had several hobbies and interests that showcased her creativity personality. Angel loved to express herself through canvas painting and sewing, and had an eye for interior design. She enjoyed watching beautiful sunrises, losing herself in a good book, and being on her cell phone, connecting with her friends. Angel's sweet tooth was well-known among family and friends; she especially adored chocolate, Kinder Joy eggs, and McDonald's Happy Meals. She was also a passionate collector of various treasures that highlighted her unique interests.

Family meant the world to Angel. She is survived by her father, Jeremiah Burns and Gina Talbot; her mother, Nicole (Wiess) Burns; two siblings, Mysheal Burns and Kaleb Burns; and her cherished grandparents, Dan and Donna Burns and Valery and Steve Hackmann. Angel also leaves behind her aunts and uncles: Josh and Kelsey Burns and Josh and Jesi Brooks, as well as numerous cousins and extended family, all of whom will deeply miss her. Angel was preceded in death by her great-grandparents. 

As we remember Angel, we honor her loving spirit, her artistic talents, and her unwavering commitment to kindness.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at DeClue Funeral Home, located at 301 E High Street, Potosi, MO 63664. Following the visitation, there will be a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 PM. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have cared for Angel's funeral arrangements.
