Amy Dean

Amy “Jane” Marlane Dean of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on January 24, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of sixty one years and sixteen days. She was born on January 8, 1950 at Hayti, Missouri a daughter to the late Melvin Cummings and Robbie (Riggins) Rulo.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her husband Cecil “Banjo” Dean; sister Judy Shepard; sister in law Vernie Rulo; brother in law Pat Cummings; nieces Dawn Tinnon, Michelle Tinnon; nephew Eddie Wicker; step father Milford Rulo.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are son Darrell Dean of Potosi; daughter Tonya Jones of Potosi; five brothers Alvin “Bo” Cummings and wife Treina of Cruthersville; Melvin “Butchy” Cummings and wife Jani of Caruthersville; Jimmy Cummings of Cruthersville; Ray Rulo of Potosi; Danny Rulo, Sr. and wife Joann of Potosi; brother in law Cleo Shepard of Potosi; four sisters Diane Bequette and husband Jim of Potosi; Mac Price and husband Roger of Potosi; Marie Revelle and husband Tom of Potosi; Mary Tinnon and husband Homer of Alton, IL; six grandchildren Kayla Dean, Tayler Dean, Christian Jones, Ashley Dawn Dean, Sommer Dean and Jesse Jones.

A graveside service was held Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 12 Noon at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
