Amos Brown

Amos Dwayne Brown of Bay Minette, Alabama passed away on February 23, 2015 having reached the age of sixty six years, five months, and twenty three days. He was born on August 31, 1948 a son to the late Joseph Jerome and Mamie Alice (Owens) Brown. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his six children: Nancy Lanell Brown of Park Hills, Missouri, Vanessa Dawn Meadows of Creve Coeur, Missouri, Melissa Sue Alloway and husband Clayton of Troy, Missouri, Michael Gilbert Brown of Salisbury, Missouri, Rebecca Jean Brown of Wentzville, Missouri, and Ashley Marie Tannehill of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers: David Jerome Brown and wife Josie of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Doyle Owen Brown and wife Karen of Mineral Point, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Amos is preceded in death by his son Amos Dwayne Brown, Jr. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Potosi Lions Den from 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Loss Creek Cemetery at a later date. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
