Alma Mae Huskey of Richwoods, Missouri departed this life on October 7, 2006 at her residence, having reached the age of 65 years, 4 months and 3 days. She was born on June 4, 1941 in rural Carroll, Reynolds County, Missouri, a daughter of the late Morgan Radford and Aggetta (Kavenaugh) Radford.
She was united in marriage to Charles William Huskey on January 23, 1959 at St. Louis, Missouri. Charles preceded her in death on November 17, 1989. They shared over thirty years of marriage together. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alma was preceded in death by a brother, David Radford; and two children, Robert Huskey and Janet Huskey.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her daughter, Donna Smith and husband Jim of Richwoods; three brothers, Clifford Radford of Leadwood, Bob Radford and wife Alice of Desloge, Bill Radford and wife Barb of Hillsboro; two sisters, Shirley Armstrong of Richwoods, Dorothy Dean of Richwoods; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 AM Wednesday at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Joe Gensler officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Huskey, James Huskey, Terry Smith, David Smith, Jim Smith and Andrew Mathis.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at 2 PM on Wednesday October 11, 2006. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
