Alice Herrington

Alice Virginia Herrington of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on June 19, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy three years, four months and ten days. She was born on February 9, 1936 at Washington, Missouri a daughter to the late Dalie Schuette and Elsie Roach Schuette.

On 1951, Alice was united in marriage to Burrell Benton Herrington and they shared thirty eight years together. Mr. Herrington preceded her on December 27, 1989.

In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by a son Kenny Herrington; a brother Floyd Valley and a great granddaughter Lauran Herrington.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are special friend Ronald Strauser; a daughter Sandy Farris and husband David of Potosi; three sons Dennis Herrington and wife Peggy of Richwoods; Burrell Herrington and wife Linda of Richwoods; Darrell Herrington and wife Brenda of Richwoods; two sisters Marcella Sansoucie of Cadet, Leola Davis of Desoto; four grandchildren Josh Herrington and wife Carla of Festus, Nick Herrington and wife Sarah of Farmington, Kyle Herrington and wife April of Richwoods, Brandon Seville of Ballwin; two great grandchildren Abby Herrington, Izabella Herrington; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tony Valley, Melvin Rhives, Ronnie Rhives, Ben Strauser, Josh Herrington, Nick Herrington and Kyle Herrington.

Interment and final prayers were held at Prospect Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
