Mary Alberta ?Hartzell? Cain of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on December 31, 2006 at her residence, having reached the age of 75 years, 10 months and 17 days. She was born on February 14, 1931, a daughter to the late Oscar Hartzell and Molly (Pidgett) Hartzell.
In 1987, she was united in marriage to Thomas Cain at Bonne Terre, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half brother, Oscar Hartzell, Jr.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Thomas Cain of Potosi; her sons, Bill Hartzell of Hope AR, Gary Hartzell of Shellbyville, David Hartzell and wife Rosie of Mineral City; her daughters, Mary Radford and fiance? Bill Johnson of Desloge, Norma Basinger and husband Jim of Shellbyville, Nancy Hartzell of Potosi; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; ten step-children; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Terry Faulkner officiating. Serving as pallbearers were David Hartzell, Gary Hartzell, James Basinger, Jr., Victor Radford, Bill Johnson and Ernie Coleman.
Interment and final prayers were held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Park Hills, Missouri with all arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
