Adretta Sweet

Adretta Marie Sweet of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on August 22, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of seventy years, six months and fifteen days. She was born on February 7, 1941 at Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Jake Mosier and Rosie (Henderson) Mosier.

Adretta was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Hopewell and was a resident of Washington County her whole life.

In addition to her parents, Adretta was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Sweet; daughter Jackie Sweet and a daughter in law Ellen Sweet.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are two sons Herbert "Dale" (Charlotte) Sweet of Stoney Point; Dennis Sweet of Park Hills; brother David (Connie) Mosier of Terre Du Lac; sister Becky (Art) Harmon of Potosi; uncle Robert Henderson of Wortham; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Guy Conway officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Mosier, Phil Mosier, Jared Eye, Dustin Eye, Rob Warden, Jason Sweet, Clint M. and Dennis Sweet, Jr.

Interment and final prayers were held at Germania Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
